Congratulations to local hospital car park attendant, Tracey Teague, who’s been recognised for 20 years dedication in all weathers to her role at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth!

Tracey, has worked for Security Management, South West, for two decades as a parking attendant and is very popular with patients, visitors and staff at the hospital. As a thank you for her work and faultless cheery disposition, she was presented a huge bunch of flowers from her colleagues.

After the hospital posted a photo of Tracey on its Facebook page to mark the occasion, it was clear to see how appreciated Tracey is by the local community.

The post was liked by over 100 people, with dozens of patients and colleagues posting comments including: “Best car parking attendant ever!”, "Lovely lady and such a great sense of humour”, “When I was visiting for tests, operation and follow-up chats... always a welcome smile and chat.”

Commenting on her 20 years, Tracey says: “I love my job, despite the unpredictable weather at times! I’m often the first person people meet when they come to our hospital and they may be a bit apprehensive if they’re having treatment so I like to try and put people at ease with a chat or smile. It’s a wonderful place to work."

Sarah Fell, Hospital Director, Practice Plus Group, Plymouth, says: “We are very proud to have such a dedicated member of our team who greets our patients and visitors every day. Tracey gets so many wonderful comments from patients and visitors, the flowers are well deserved.”
