Egg-citement on children’s wards

A big thank you to Plymouth Care Home Providers and Plymouth City Council’s Quality Assurance and Improvement team, who have kindly donated 74 Easter eggs to the children’s wards at Derriford Hospital.

Care home managers and residents across Plymouth attended the 25th Dignity in Care Forum on the 18th March and many donated Easter eggs, which were gratefully received by the children staying in hospital over the Easter period.

Anita Dykes, Matron for Acute Paediatrics at Derriford Hospital, said: “We are very grateful to everyone for their donation of Easter eggs. They will be a really nice treat for the children who will be with us in hospital, leading up to and during Easter.”
