Royal William Yard springs into action this Easter Sunday for the return of the Good Food Market. Not only will the market showcase some of the best food and drink that the South West has to offer, there’s also fun for the whole family with the Easter Bonnet Competition.

Over 30 stall holders from across Devon and Cornwall, including Karens Cakes, the Red Earth Kitchen and Cornish Orchards flock to Royal William Yard for the bustling Sunday market. Often selling out of produce, the Easter Sunday market is sure to be a success.

This year an Easter Bonnet competition will take place on “The Green” at 11.30am, next to an appropriately dressed bonnet-wearing Royal William Yard cow. Children are invited to let their creativity flow, bringing along their colourful, wacky and wonderful bonnets. Each entry will cost £1 and all the proceeds will go to a charity of the winners choice. The lucky winner will also be presented with a festive chocolate egg.

The market will take place on Sunday 5th April between 10am and 3pm on The Green, Royal William Yard.

If families wish to enjoy an Easter Sunday lunch at the Yard whilst overlooking spectacular views of the harbour, River Cottage, Prezzo, Le Bistrot Pierre, Las Igunas and The Seco Lounge are a couple of steps away.

People visiting the market in the ex-Naval Victualling Yard can travel by the Royal William Yard Ferry, enjoying wonderful views of Plymouth Sound and Mount Edgcumbe, Cornwall en route. Travel by bus or bike is encouraged, as parking is limited.
