Celebrations at Dawlish’s newest care home
Claremont Manor Care Home celebrated its first six months with a celebratory open event – a big thank you to all those living in the home, friends, and families and the wider community.
The Mayor of Dawlish, Cllr Lin Goodman-Bradbury and MP for Newton Abbot Martin Wrigley were in attendance at the event on Thursday October 17th, doing the honours for the official opening ceremony with ribbon cutting and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.
Guests were treated to prosecco and canapes, as well as ice creams provided by The Local Scoop, during the event from 2pm to 4pm.
Katy Ullah, the Customer Relations Manager at Claremont Manor, said:
“It is a privilege to serve this wonderful community; we have enjoyed the warmest of welcomes in Dawlish, and it has been a joy to see our new community develop since we opened in April, so we wanted to take this moment to formally celebrate the establishment of this care home.
“We were delighted to see so many people at our open event. It was the perfect way to celebrate all we have achieved so far and say a huge thank you to all those who have supported us along the way.”
