Blue Chip Holidays Expands In Plymouth And The South Hams

Blue Chip Holidays, the South West’s largest provider of four and five star self catering holiday homes, has responded to increased customer demand for properties in Plymouth and the South Hams with the appointment of Nicole Roe as Portfolio Development Manager for the area.

Nicole, who has over 9 years’ experience in management and sales, will be working closely with owners in the area to advise them on potential yields and to swiftly add their property to Blue Chip Holidays’ portfolio.

With average booking values in the South Hams almost 4 per cent higher than elsewhere in the South West and the Isle of Wight, and with many properties on its books taking 30 or more bookings in a year, Blue Chip Holidays is looking to add up to 25 select local properties to meet customer demand.

The business is particularly interested in recruiting high end water-front properties in Plymouth; in Royal William Yard, and overlooking Plymouth Hoe. It is also looking to attract more properties in Dartmouth, Kingswear, Noss Mayo, Newton Ferrers, Salcombe, Hope Cove, Bigbury and Thurlestone.

Commenting on her appointment Nicole said: “Plymouth and the South Hams are high demand areas for our customers. Our goal is to add to our existing 80 properties in the area, bringing on board a broadened selection of waterfront properties, traditional cottages, barn conversions and chic new developments, enabling us to deliver high returns for owners.

“Following a near sell-out summer and strong forward bookings for 2014, we are in a very good position to drive bookings for new properties, particularly for those that join us during the first quarter, the peak booking period for the year.”
