First-of-its-kind ibis Styles hotel announces opening date for Paignton
Ibis Styles, the renowned hotel brand synonymous with creative design and playful atmospheres, has today announced the grand opening of its newest hotel in Paignton.
Representing a £30m investment for the local area, the latest addition to the brand’s UK collection aims to redefine the seaside hotel experience in South Devon and is set to open its doors on Tuesday January 16, 2024.
The new-build hotel is the latest venture from Singapore-based owner Fragrance UK Luxury Hotel Group, who recently opened their neighbouring hotel, the Mercure Paignton Hotel, in April 2023. Similar to its sister site, the ibis Styles Paignton is also franchised by the world class Accor group and operated by RBH Hospitality.
The two new sea-front hotels signify a collective investment for the region of £70m.
The hotel boasts the unique distinction of being the first in the ibis Styles UK collection to feature a dry spa with three beauty treatment rooms alongside a fully-equipped gym. The hotel also offers guests an all day dining experience at Deller’s Cafe, a contemporary dining space with sea views, where British seaside meets American diner delights. In addition to the restaurant, ibis Styles Paignton features an ice-cream parlour and waffle bar.
With 121 spacious and comfortable bedrooms, ranging from standard to superior, the interior design draws inspiration from mythical shorelines as well as the surrounding seaside landscapes, characterised by playful palettes of aqua blues and bold neons.
