Team dressed to impress on pitch

A TEAM of young footballers from Plympton has been kitted out in a smart new strip thanks to sponsorship from Plymouth-based training provider Skills Group.
AFC Plympton Under 13s football team can now step out on to the pitch in style after being kitted out by Skills Group earlier this month.
The boys from AFC Plympton Under 13s currently play in the top division of DJM (Devon, Junior and Minor league).
Team manager Mark Easterbrook said: “We are very grateful to Skills Group for giving the boys a brand new strip. It gives the boys an incentive, they look after it and all look really smart and united as a team.”
Mark Boulting, managing director of Skills Group, said: “Skills Group is delighted to sponsor the Under 13s AFC Plympton team. It is great to support such a successful team on a community level.
“We actively support young people and sponsoring sporting activities is a positive way to champion this.”
Skills Group sponsors a number of local community sporting organisations including the city’s speedway team Plymouth Skills Group Devils, as well as PMVC Skills Group Drakes volleyball team.
