Tiverton builders merchant hits bullseye with fundraising month for CHSW
The Tiverton branch of RGB Building Supplies is inviting customers to be part of a charity darts competition taking place between Friday 1st December and Wednesday 20th December in aid of Children's Hospice South West.
In return for a donation of £1 to the charity, participants will be given three darts to throw to achieve as high a score as possible. At the end of the event, the customer with the top score will win a 2-piece Makita set, which has a value of £270.
There will also be a prize for the person who achieves the highest daily total, as well as various other chances to win throughout the month.
Children’s Hospice South West provides vital care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families, including respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative and end-of-life care. The charity has three children's hospices across the South West - Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset, and Little Harbour in Cornwall. The 24-hour specialist nursing care offered at each hospice is not simply about medical and nursing care for sick children, but about enriching the lives of children and their families.
Paul Hague, branch manager of RGB in Tiverton, commented:
"We’re inviting people to the branch to not only enjoy a fun and competitive activity but also make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families facing challenging circumstances. Children’s Hospice South West is RGB’s chosen charity, and in advance, we’d like to thank everyone who takes part in our darts match and helps us raise money for this fantastic organisation."
The charity darts competition takes place at RGB Building Supplies’ Tiverton branch, located on Howden Industrial Estate, between Friday 1st and Wednesday 20th December.
