Drake Circus Reveals Full Festive Activities
Drake Circus and The Barcode has announced a calendar of festive fun at the centre throughout November and December.
Festive shoppers will be treated to a special Christmas drawing session hosted by The Snow Princess on Thursday (30th November).
The North Pole Postal Service, with Nena the reindeer and her steward Pickle, will roam the centre on the evening of Thursday 7th December to greet customers and share the wonders of Lapland.
And there will be a visit from The Merry Christmas Mice, Nutcracker and Spinderella on Thursday 14th December.
Visitors will also be greeted by magical snow flurries that will transform the centre into a joyful white Christmas at 4pm every day at the Old Town Street entrance, while no visit will be complete without capturing a photo in the selfie baubles located outside Primark on the Ground Floor of the Atrium.
What’s more, the Soundhouse Brass Band will be getting those at the centre on 21st and 23rd December into the festive spirit with their roaming performances, featuring a host of Christmas classics.
Greg Lumley, centre director at Drake Circus, said: “Following the success of our Christmas lights switch-on, we’re excited to get underway with the rest of our celebrations.
“With so much to see and do at the centre, there is no better time than the festive period to pay a visit to Drake Circus. We can’t wait to welcome shoppers and get into the Christmas spirit together!”
