[ This is a play ]
Tuesday 16 -  Saturday 20 July

RunRagged, Theatre Royal Plymouth’s 2018/19 Lab Company, present the
debut of their devised show [ This is a Play ].

What do you do when you’re alone? Imagine if someone saw. What happens when you’re surrounded by people and would it change a thing?

[ This is a Play ] indulges in those moments of hidden humanity that are often left unnoticed. You’re up one second and down the next; inside the box one minute and outside the room the next. Time to sit back and explore.
The Lab Company supports the development of Early Career Artists based in the South West. It is a singular opportunity for emerging artists to develop and present their craft with Theatre Royal Plymouth.

The Secret Listener
Wednesday 24 & Thursday 25 July

The mystery of a solitary woman living in Devon who listened to German radio stations during WW2. Olive Myler’s story is wrapped in secrecy; a quiet rural life on the surface that hides a wealth of intelligence and intrigue on a national scale. A performance that asks the questions do we know who our neighbours really are and what stories do they keep as a secret?

One Foot In The Rave
Friday 26 & Saturday 27 July

This show tackles the incredibly complex issues created when a child is brought up within a strict doomsday cult. The performance will resonate with anyone who has undergone external manipulation and control.

Faggot.
Tuesday 30 & Wednesday 31 July

Colin Davey is a local Plymouth based artist exploring voice and how we embody it. Faggot is an exploration of gay men and why some of us “gag” our voices to try and fit in. It’s about the words and how we say them.

Tickets are priced from £7.50 and can be booked online at www.theatreroyal.com or by calling the Theatre Royal Plymouth Box Office on 01752 267222.
