Hairdresser hunts out conspiracy theories in new film coming to Devon cinemas
Double bill film event with expert Q&A – showing soon in Kingsbridge, Okehampton, Ilfracombe and Exeter
As the world faces increasingly devastating climate-related disasters, why do so many people believe that climate change is all a hoax?
This is the question that Jaz Njie, a tech-savvy Gen Z-er, sets out to discover in new film, #ClimateScam? Who’s Shaping the Climate Debate?
As a mobile hairdresser, Jaz’s day job involves her going out to people’s homes to cut their hair. In this film, she swaps her scissors for a microphone, going out to the homes of climate scientists, sceptics and activists.
Along the way she unravels a web of misinformation. Is there any truth in the conspiracy theories - or could they be undermining our ability to confront the greatest challenge humanity has ever faced?
