Bolshoi Ballet pirouettes onto the big screen at Vue Plymouth

Great news for dance fans as the Bolshoi Ballet is bringing a host of events to Vue throughout this year.

Vue Plymouth will transform into a royal concert hall as music swells around the auditorium and every detail of the ballet is captured live and streamed on to the big screen. Performances starts on Sunday 19th May with Carmen Suite/Petrushka and continue with seven more live screenings over the 2019/20 season.

The Bolshoi theatre is regarded as one of Moscow’s main sights and was opened in 1856. Today, artists continue to contribute to the theatre and now Vue gets to be a part of the history too.

“Not everyone has the chance to travel to Moscow to see it so we’re very happy that we can give admirers the closest insight possible complete with the best quality picture and sound.”
