16 New Shows On Sale at Theatre Royal Plymouth

Theatre Royal Plymouth are thrilled to announce that a phenomenal sixteen new shows have gone on general sale today.

From musicals like the iconic Kinky Boots The Musical or Calamity Jane, starring Carrie Hope Fletcher, to dance with the return of the sensational The Four Seasons, and TRP co-production comedy with Buyer & Cellar, starring Rob Madge in The Drum, to something more on the spooky side like Ghost Stories – there’s an eclectic range of shows on sale!

 My Mother’s Funeral, The Drum, 10 – 14 September 2024

Abigail needs money for her mum’s funeral. Luckily, the theatre will pay her to write them something gritty, raw, working-class. Just like her. A new play about the cost of turning your life into art.

The Four Seasons, The Drum, 10 – 12 October 2024  

Using Max Richter’s recomposed version of Vivaldi’s seminal work The Four Seasons, award winning James Wilton Dance has created a work of immense physicality, driving energy and sweeping beauty.

Love Letters Straight From Your Heart, The Drum, 16 – 19 October 2024  

Join us as we raise our glasses to long lost loves and current lovers, to mums, to dads, and to absent friends.

Paradise Lost, The Drum, 23 – 26 October 2024 

A one man staging of Milton’s epic poem Paradise Lost and not like whatever came into your head when you read the first bit of that sentence. Combining theatre, comedy and movement this is a journey through the story of the creation of everything, condensed into 75 minutes.

Buyer & Cellar, The Drum, 29 October – 02 November 2024 

An out-of-work actor finds himself working beneath Barbra Streisand’s Malibu home in her legendary basement shopping mall. A big hit in New York and London, Buyer & Cellar is an outrageous comedy about the price of fame, the cost of things, and the oddest of odd jobs.

Pierless, The Drum, 07 – 09 November 2024  

Our Space returns with its signature style of bold visual storytelling and immersive soundscapes in a show that explores memory, time, and the Great British seaside.

Feel Me, The Drum, 12 - 13 November 2024  

Feel Me is a new interactive theatre show from The Paper Birds, UK leaders in devised verbatim theatre. Feel Me asks, via your mobile phone, who and what you care about from the stories unfolding live on stage in front of you.

When Professor Goodman, arch-sceptic out to debunk the paranormal, embarks on an investigation of three apparent hauntings – as recounted by a night-watchman, a teenage boy, and a businessman awaiting his first child – Goodman finds himself at the outer limits of rationality, and fast running out of explanations.

Kinky Boots The Musical, The Lyric, 22 – 26 April 2025 

The Broadway and West End sensation, Kinky Boots The Musical, is strutting back to Plymouth in a brand-new production starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe and rising star Dan Partridge.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Lyric, 24 – 28 June 2025
