Plympton Academy students raise money for charity
Students from Plympton Academy tucked into a delicious range of cakes and biscuits recently when they took part in the Macmillan Cancer Support World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Organised by Year 7 students they raised £300.13 for the charity. Along with their parents they provided a wide selection of sweet treats for pupils to buy in the morning break.
“The event really bought the Plympton Academy community together,” said Sarah Puleston, Year 7 Pastoral Mentor. “Everyone enjoyed the cakes and biscuits knowing they were also raising money for a worthwhile cause.”
