Plymouth recruitment agency expands

Due to major business growth, a Plymouth recruitment agency has announced a series of new appointments and a £100,000 investment in new offices.

Sphere Solutions, which specialises in recruitment for the construction industry, has relocated to The Millfields, the site of the Grade 2 listed former Royal Naval Hospital.

With an annual turnover in excess of £20million, Sphere has also announced the appointment of three new recruitment consultants specialising in construction, social housing and trades and labour.

Rob Bennett, who has been promoted to the position of Area Director, said: “We are experiencing sustained uplift in the local construction industry resulting in increased vacancies in both temporary and permanent positions.

"The investment in our new office is paramount to our ongoing development plans allowing us to attract and recruit more specialist consultants, which in turn enables us to deliver recruitment campaigns to our diverse client base.”

The appointments comprise Gareth Hughes-Williams, who comes in as Principal Consultant, bringing 20 years’ recruitment industry experience to Sphere Solutions.

Gareth is joined by Lauren Fucile, who has moved over from Hays Construction & Property to specialise in trades and labour recruitment. 

Completing the trio is Raquel Saunders, who has taken up the position of trainee recruitment consultant specialising in social housing.

Sphere Solutions recruit’s staff for major, regional and independent construction companies, house builders and civil engineering and rail contractors throughout Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.
