Progress on new homes in Plymouth well on track for winter opening
Progress on a new community in the Plymouth suburb of Plympton has been given the seal of approval from one of Barratt Homes’ most senior staff.
Managing director Paul Moran visited the company’s new Redwood Heights development in Plympton this week and gave his construction team the thumbs up for progress being made at the site.
Work is well underway at Redwood Heights, with many of the 190 new homes starting to take shape. The development will feature a selection of modern and sustainable two, three and four bedroom homes and is expected to open later this year.
High levels of interest in the new homes has prompted Barratt Homes to set up a pop-up shop at The Ridgeway in Plympton to enable buyers to reserve a home ahead of the official show home opening.
“This is the start of a brand new community here in Plymouth - and already you can get a sense of how it will feel to live here. The construction team has done a fantastic job and you can really see their passion for quality reflected in the new homes,” said Paul.
“These new homes will offer the five star quality buyers come to expect from Barratt Homes and I’m very much looking forward to unveiling them to the public soon.”
The area has excellent transport links to the city centre and quick access to the Devon Expressway - with links to Cornwall and Exeter. Plympton is a short drive from Dartmoor, and from the charming walks around Plymbridge Woods.
