Police appeal for witnesses after elderly woman dies following Plymouth crash
An 86-year-old woman has died following a single-vehicle collision in Plymouth last week.
Emergency services were called at 2.30pm on Thursday 28 September after a silver Vauxhall Corsa collided with a wall on Royal Navy Avenue in Keyham.
Both occupants from the car were taken to Derriford Hospital. The driver, a 63-year-old woman from Kingsbridge, sustained minor injuries.
Her passenger, an 86-year-old woman from Plymouth, died of her injuries in hospital the following day [Friday 29 September].
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses to this incident and asking anyone with information to contact them via 101@dc.police.uk or by phone on 101, quoting log number 489 of 28/09/17.
