Plympton crash leaves two injured, one seriously

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision that left two men hospitalised.

Police were called just after 2pm on Sunday 27th December after a collision between a blue Ford Focus RS and a green Ford Fiesta Flight on the B3416, Plymouth Road, Plympton, Plymouth near to the junction with St Mary’s Close.

The 21-year-old male driver of the Focus was taken to Derriford Hospital with minor injuries. The 60-year-old male driver of the Fiesta was extracted from his vehicle by Fire Service and taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries not thought to be life threatening

Police are appealing for witnesses and are asking that anyone who witnessed the crash to contact 101@Devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk quoting police log 484 for the 27th of December.
