Column Bakehouse confirm support for Plymouth's Flavour Fest

Column Bakehouse has been confirmed as Flavour Fest’s Social Enterprise Partner for 2017, committing to support the event for the second year running and bringing their love for artisan baking to the three day food lover’s paradise.

Flavour Fest, the south west’s favourite free food festival is returning from 2-4 June and award winning Plymouth bakery, Column Bakehouse will be not only bringing their delicious artisan bread, but their social enterprise expertise to the three day foodie extravaganza, providing an added flavour to this hugely popular event and building on the success of last year’s activity.

Claire Burgess, Head of Enterprises at Real Ideas Organisation, the Social Enterprise that runs Column Bakehouse, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring Flavour Fest again this year, and we’re looking forward to sharing our passion for fantastic hand-crafted artisan bread at the South West’s premier food festival.”

At last year’s Flavour Fest Column Bakehouse supported nine young people to gain work experience with stall holders at the event, providing valuable experience for those young people as well as providing extra support and capacity for stallholders.
