Plymouth Science Park hosts free Women in Business Networking workshop

Plymouth Science Park is to host the city’s second, free, Women in Business Networking workshop.

The workshops are carried out by members of the Plymouth network group which attracts 120 businesses each month to its meeting at The Treasury in the city centre. It was founded in January of this year.

Plymouth Science Park hosts the workshop events in one of its conference suites complete with wifi, live conferencing facilities and refreshments.

The bi-monthly workshops started in May, kicking off with a mention on national BBC Radio 2’s Sara Cox show which created a buzz around the event.

The second free Bi Monthly workshop is being run by Joanne Wheatley and her business partner Zoe Hawkins from In Good Company (www.igcompany.co.uk) on Over Coming Self Limiting Beliefs.

Jo and Zoe train people to be professional coaches as well as coaching managers. They were short listed for CIPD’s National Learning & Development Consultancy of the Year Award and nominated for a coaching award with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council.

They have over 2000 hours of group and individual coaching practice and work with organisations including Mars, Vodafone, Macmillan and Universities. They will be guiding delegates through activities used on their coaching training programme and leadership development programmes to assist in overcoming limiting beliefs holding people back from identifying and/or reaching their potential.

The afternoon will involve deep reflection in some sections and could be the catalyst for personal transformation!

The event will be held at the Plymouth Science Park on July 12th between 14:00 and 17:00.
