IU Energy named UK Consultancy of the Year
South West energy consultants IU Energy have been named as the UK’s top consultancy at by a panel of independent experts at the Oscars of the energy sector - The TELCA Awards 2018.
The company picked up the top prize after winning the South West regional title (for the second year in a row) and was subsequently named as ‘Consultancy of the Year 2018’ sponsored by British Gas - ahead of 11 other finalists from across the country.
In selecting IU for the prestigious award, judges from blue chip companies and the Energy Institute cited the company’s, “Firm grasp of return on investment, business growth and client focus.”
Chair of Judges Sumit Bose, managing director at ELN, explained IU’s consultancy: “Provides industry leading technologies to reduce energy waste, generate and store power as well as smart energy procurement. Their solutions have helped hotels, care homes, farms, manufacturing and engineering businesses, schools, fun parks and high density housing projects to significantly reduce the cost of energy.”
Earlier in the evening, IU Energy were also shortlisted for the “Best Energy Solution” award sponsored by SSE.

The TELCA Awards 2018 were held at the Honourable Artillery Company in Moorgate, London with over 450 guests in attendance.
