Bruton Knowles awarded commercial property portfolio by National Charity
The Gerrick Rose Animal Trust, a charity which provides financial assistance to organisations involved in providing care to animals, has awarded its property management contract to the Plymouth office of Bruton Knowles.
The charity made the most of high property values in London until recently when it reinvested those returns in higher yielding stock in the South West of England.
A number of assets are currently owned and operated by Gerrick Rose and include a mixture of single-occupied and multi-let properties. Bruton Knowles now deals with all elements of their maintenance and letting, as well as providing landlord and tenant advice.
With its registered office in Plymouth, the Gerrick Rose Animal Trust supports animal charities nationwide. Recent examples include donations to Battersea Dogs Home and The Flicka Foundation, a horse and donkey sanctuary in Helston.
Property management associate at Bruton Knowles, Ian Le Grice, is delighted to be working with the charity.
He said: “In my previous role, before joining Bruton Knowles in February of this year, I provided comprehensive support to Gerrick Rose. I am delighted to retain this important relationship with the organisation and the trustees. I have an in-depth understanding of their future goals and am thrilled to remain part of the team.”
Tony Cusack, a partner at Plymouth law firm GA Solicitors and a director of the Gerrick Rose Animal Trust, added: “The charity has a long standing relationship with Ian and it was logical to continue that relationship following his relocation to Bruton Knowles.
“This appointment means we can keep the proximity of the agent local to the charity whilst also taking advantage of Bruton Knowles’ national spread of offices. Through this we can identify further acquisition opportunities across more areas, more efficiently, and with greater confidence.”
